Editorial and Publishing Process
In the Encyclopedia Herald of Ukraine, the main processes are managed by the editorial board and staff of the Institute of Encyclopedic Research, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
Based on publishing ethics and editorial responsibility, the editorial board oversees the receipt and processing of manuscript submissions, the organization of peer review, and the final decision to accept or reject manuscripts.
Staff members of the Institute of Encyclopedic Research contribute to literary and technical editing, layout design, publishing (both print and online), and distribution of volumes.
The Academic Council of the Institute of Encyclopedic Research approves the decision to publish each volume of the Encyclopedia Herald of Ukraine.
Under this model, article processing involves the following stages: submission (via email) and initial assessment within the editorial office, peer review (details: Peer Review Process), review resolution (acceptance or rejection), literary and technical editing, pre-publication preparation, academic approval of the volume, and publication.
The submission date of an article is recorded as the day the manuscript is received. The acceptance date is marked by the approval of the journal volume by the Academic Council. The publication date corresponds to the day the print circulation is authorized (for the paper version) and the day the article is published online.
