Authors grant to the editorial board of the journal for the full term of copyright in the article and any extensions thereto the exclusive right throughout the world to edit, adapt, translate, publish reproduce, distribute and display the article in printed, electronic or any other medium and format whether now known or yet to be developed. Authors agree to publish their articles under a CC-BY License. Authors represent to the editorial board of the journal that: a) submitted article is an original work, has not previously been published and is not currently under consideration for publication by any other entity; b) in the case of a multi-authored article, you have obtained written authorisation from all the co-authors of the article (if any) to grant this licence to us on their behalf as their agent, and you will supply a copy of the same to us if we so request; с) the article does not contain anything that infringes any intellectual property right or any other rights of any person or entity, or is otherwise unlawful. Authors retain copyright in their articles. Authors may use materials of their articles, without approval of the editorial board and the founders of this journal: a) fully or partially, for educational purposes; b) for writing their own dissertation articles; c) for preparation of theses, conference reports or presentations. Authors may post the final, published PDF of their articles on personal web resources (websites, webpages, blogs etc.), institutional repository or other free public server, immediately on publication. As a condition of submission, the editorial board asks authors to agree to the terms and conditions set out in this paragraph. The editorial board accepts manuscripts that conform to the specific content and formatting requirements for the intended article type:
research article, review article, project report, biography essay, or book review. However, the editorial board reserves the right to reclassify submissions as opinions, essays, commentaries, or letters if they are deemed relevant but do not fully align with the original category’s criteria for length or analytical depth. Research Article Research Article is a type of articles that presents study results. This is the most common type of journal manuscript used to publish theoretical, empirical or methodological scholarships. Research Article includes introduction, methods, results, conclusions as article sections. They contain abstract, keywords, references (up to 20 citations). If necessary they can also comprise figures, tables or additional supplementary materials. Research Article should consist of 3000–5000 words, including title, affiliation information, abstract, keywords, and references. Review Article Review Article provides a comprehensive summary of study on a certain topic, and a perspective on the state of the field and where it is heading. Review Article is based on review of research results which were published in journals, conference proceedings, monographs, etc. It should include introduction, methods, results, conclusions. Review Article should consist of 3000–5000 words, title, affiliation information, including abstract, keywords, and references (up to 50 citations). Biography Essay Biography Essay as a type of research articles for biography studies devoted to persons who have made a significant contribution to encyclopedistics, less often — to that ones about whom there is or should be information in encyclopedias. Biography Essay can be a generalization, comprehension or reflection of personal achievements as well as presentation biographical facts that attract interest, but little known or made public for the first time. Biography Essay should consist of 2000-5000 words, including title, affiliation information, abstract, keywords, and references (at least 5-10 citations). Project Report (Encyclopedia Review) Project Report is an article devoted to the report on the encyclopedia case. Such articles should have some practical goal, e.g. identification or analysis of problems, finding solutions, or implementing them in practice, or evaluating the results of implemented solutions. Project Report should describe the background of an encyclopedia appearance, its perspectives (scientific / social context), methods or theories used in order to achieve the practical goal, outcomes, lessons learned (positive as well as negative) and present some conclusions derived from the experienced. So, active participation of the author(s) in the project is part of the requirement of this type of articles. Project Report should consist of 2000–3000 words, including title, affiliation information, abstract, keywords, and references (up to 10 citations). Communication and Review We dedicate Communications to highlight events which are relevant for encyclopedias and encyclopedia contributors. A type of communications can be reviews — expert and literary ones.
Communications and Reviews should consist of 2000–3000 words, including title, affiliation information, abstract, keywords, and references (up to 10 citations). Title. The title should be short and informative. The total length of the title should not exceed 100 characters (including spaces). Author(s). The full name (first and last) of each author should be given. Information about affiliation for each author includes: place of employment, city with postal code, country, email, ORCID. Abstract. The Abstract should be comprehensible to readers before they have read the article. The abstract describes all key novel findings of the study. For this purpose, summarize the salient points of the article in 200 words or less emphasizing the results of your study. Keywords. Up to 10 keywords should be given in alphabetical order, below the abstract. Article body. We recommend include an introduction, methods, results, conclusions as article sections for original articles and review articles. Other types of articles can be structured in any form. References and citations. Authors are responsible for the accuracy of the references and for ensuring that the related literature is accurately and comprehensively discussed and cited. The reference list at the journal is not subject to length restriction, but there are recommendations for every type of articles (see above). In the reference list, citations should be listed in alphabetical order. The APA style need to be used for in-text citation and the reference list building. Tables and figures. They should be numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals (1, 2, 3, 4) as well as self-explanatory and include a brief descriptive title. Figures should be included in manuscript as well as provided in image format as separate files. If you have already prepared a manuscript, you should submit this by email attachment (Article Submission). Initial editorial assessment of submissions is usually rapid (screening before assigning to experts: potential suitableness for the journal’s scope and general equirements as well as the basic quality of the article). The peer review can take up to two weeks (mauscripts are accepted, rejected, or conditionally accepted pending revision). Manuscripts undergo peer-review. Sent manuscripts should not have been submitted elsewhere.
